It's started ! :)
As I wrote in my previous article, I just started a Day-To-Day Sculpture Challenge.
Goal : Sculpting this little guy — Gob'Nan for Gob'Z'Heroes — in about a week.
Well... I will have him finished with all my usual standards of quality, so, if it needs few days more... ;)

Comme je l'ai écrit dans mon article prédédent, je viens de commencer un Challenge de Sculpture au Jour-Le-Jour.
But : sculpter ce petit gars — Gob'Nan pour Gob'Z'Heroes — en environ une semaine.
Enfin... Je le finirai selon mes standards habituels de qualité, donc s'il y a besoin de quelques jours de plus... ;)

| Gob'Nan for Gob'Z'Heroes Study |
I did a very quick study of it, since I have some references and I sculpted several Gobs — Gob'Da, Sergeant'Gob or Radioactiv'Gob — for this range already.
I printed the original concept art and a real sized version of it to have the right reference.
I keep in mind that I'm gonna have to adapt the art since the model needs to be monobloc.
And I adapt the size of it to the range (here I take Sergeant'Gob as reference).

J'en ai réalisé une étude très rapide , ayant des références et ayant déjà sculpté plusieurs Gobs — Gob'Da, Sergeant'Gob ou Radioactiv'Gob — pour cette collection.J'ai imprimé le concept original et une version taille réelle pour avoir la référence exacte.
Je garde en tête que je vais devoir adapter le concept car le modèle doit être mononbloc.
Et j'adapte sa taille au reste de la collection (je prends ici Sergeant'Gob comme référence).
This study is more a reminder than a proper bible to follow ! :)

...And then, I started the armature wire.Using 0,7mm diameter metal wire for the main part (body) and 0,45mm one for the shoulders/arms, I built the skeleton, directly in the right position, respecting all key points such as hips, knees, etc...
The pose and the anatomy are quite simple here, so it is easier, but it's actually and usually a very important and sometimes tricky stage in the process.

... Et j'ai donc commencé l'armature.Utilisant un fil de métal de diamètre 0,7mm pour la partie principale (le corps) et du 0,45mm pour les épaules/bras, j'ai construit le squelette, directement dans la bonne position, en respectant tous les endroits clé comme les hanches, les genoux, etc...
La pose et l'anatomie de ce modèle sont plutôt simples, c'est donc assez facile, mais c'est en fait et habituellement une étape très importante et délicate du processus.

Then, using Duro and Magic Sculp, I built the very first volumes, solidifying hips, shoulders and creating the base of the Head volume and the base under his feet...
Since I had more Magic Sculp in hand, I used it to create the base for the sword as well.

Puis, utilsant du Duro et du Magic Sculp, j'ai construit les tous premiers volumes, solidifiant les hanches, les épaules et créant la base du volume de la Tête et la base du monticule sous ses pieds...Puisqu'il me restait du Magic Sculp, j'en ai profité pour faire la base de son épée.
