The Rotten Clown — Part 7 / 2021.

Just few words before the proper pictures...
I described in the
Part 1 how this all started.
Now, it is time to explain what this project means for me.
This is the very first time that I was entirely free about a commission.
Believe it or not, since I am officially a sculptor, I have NEVER created totally a sculpture by myself.
Not for me (never sculpted for myself actually), not for other.
This Rotten Clown is my FIRST of a kind : my idea, my design, my sculpture, this is my truly first personal work.
It may seem "not important' to you, but for me, after more than 22 years in this line of work, it means a lot.
And it opens perspectives for a close future !
But that matter will be for another chapter of my professional work... ;)

Juste quelques mots avant de passer aux photos définitives...
J'ai déjà décrit dans la Partie 1 comment tout a commencé. À présent, il est temps d'expliquer ce que ce projet signifie pour moi.
C'est la toute première fois que j'étais entièrement libre dans le cadre d'une commande.
Croyez-le ou non, depuis que je suis officiellement sculpteur, je n'ai JAMAIS créé une sculpture complète par moi-même.
Ni pour moi (je n'ai jamais sculpté pour moi en fait), ni pour qui que ce soit d'autre.
Ce Rotten Clown est ma PREMIÈRE du genre : mon idée, mon design, ma sculpture, ceci est vraiment mon premier travail personnel.
Cela peut ne pas vous paraître "important", mais pour moi, après plus de 22 ans dans cette activité, cela représente beaucoup.
Et cela ouvre des perspectives pour le futur !
Mais cela concerne un autre chapitre de mon activité professionnelle... ;)

... So, once the sculpture was "finished" but not baked, I finally decided (after a quick discussion with Pawel) to add it to the left arm !
But before to go for it, I photoshopped one picture of the sculpture to be sure and compare with and without it.
And the worm was born !
Haha ha ha ha hahaahhaaaaaaaaaaaa...
...Et donc, une fois la sculpture "finie" mais non cuite, j'ai finalement décidé (après un échange rapide avec Pawel) de l'ajouter au bras gauche !
Mais avant de le faire, j'ai retouché sur Photoshop une photo de la sculpture pour être sûr et comparer avec et sans.
Et le ver était né !
Haha ha ha ha hahaahhaaaaaaaaaaaa...

These pictures were taken after the sculpture was baked and the worm/tentacle seems so alive and real ! :D
