And it is time to look back at it, do a review about this project and finally show you the very Final Pictures of the model !

So...
This kind of "Challenge", with Day-To-Day updates via this very Blog, Facebook or Minicréateurs (French Forum) has been very interesting for me.

It was the first time I tried this exercise and, though tiring and a bit stressing, it has been fun and actually educational too.
It is easy when you start a project to let you follow your own feelings, losing yourself in details and forgetting time for instance... Having a report to write and show, I had to focuse on what could actually be interesting, even if it was not what I "wanted" to work on at the moment. And then, the point was to look for efficiency.
Finally, I'm pretty happy with the journey AND the result !

Ce genre de "Challenge", avec un compte-rendu au Jour-Le-Jour sur ce Blog, Facebook ou Minicréateurs (Forum Français) a été très intéressant pour moi.

C'était la première fois que je m'essayais à cet exercice et, bien que fatiguant et un peu stressant, cela fût amusant mais également instructtif.
Il est facile lorsqu'on commence un projet de se laisser aller à suivre ses envies, se perdre dans les détails et d'oublier le temps par exemple... Devant rédiger et montrer ce compte-rendu, j'ai dû me focaliser sur ce qui était vraiment intéressant, même si cela n'était pas ce sur quoi j'avais envie de travailler sur le moment. En fait, le but était de rechercher l'efficacité.
Finalement, je suis très content du parcours ET du résultat !

I actually worked a full 9 days time on it.
But to be fair, the same work, but only focusing on the sculpture, could have taken only 5 to 6 days.
These articles — taking pictures, writing them (in English and French), posting on internet (Blog, Facebook, Forum) — took me an average of 3-4 hours per day, time added to the hours spent on sculpting, the "normal" already full time job.
At the end, lack of sleep and stress were really exhausting.
So, though the experience has been great, I'm not about to do it again soon. :)
Not this way anyway...
Because, only if possible with my clients, I like the idea of posting some updated WIPs once week or so...
We will see if I can find a way to make it ;)

I'm going to try to update my Blog more often anyway, since I have lot of works to show, even old ones !

En fait, j'ai travaillé 9 jours complets dessus.
Mais pour être honnête, le même travail, en se concentrant uniquement sur la sculpture, n'aurait pris que 5 à 6 jours.
Ces articles — prendre les photos, les écrire (en Anglais et Français), poster sur internet (Blog, Facebook, Forum) — m'ont pris une moyenne de 3-4 heures par jour, en plus des heures passées à sculpter, mon travail déjà à temps complet "normal".
À la fin, le manque de sommeil et le stress ont été vraiment épuisant.
Donc, bien que cette expérience fût vraiment bonne, je ne suis pas sûr de la réitérer bientôt. :)
Pas de cette façon en tout cas...
En effet, si cela est possible avec mes clients, j'aime l'idée de poster quelques suivis de WIPs au rythme d'une fois par semaine par exemple...
On verra si j'arrive à trouver le moyen de le faire ;)

Je vais essayer de mettre à jour mon Blog plus souvent de toute façon, ayant beaucoup de travaux à montrer, même des anciens !
